Erica Estevez is a Miami native. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2012. Erica went on to attend the University of Miami School of Law and graduated cum laude with her Juris Doctorate degree in 2015. While in law school, Erica worked as a law clerk for a family law firm located in Miami, Florida. There she was able to observe a wide array of Family Law cases and interact directly with clients.

Additionally, Erica worked for two years with the University of Miami Children and Youth Law Clinic where she worked with attorneys to directly represent children and young adults involved in the foster care system. Through the Clinic, Erica gained experience arguing motions and presenting cases in court.

Erica is fluent in Spanish and also reads and writes the language.
